WINDEAcare Annual Report 2024: Figures, services and insights into offshore medical care

HAMBURG – With the publication of the current “WINDEAcare Jahresbericht” (in German only), WINDEA Offshore GmbH provides a comprehensive overview of the services, projects and operations in the field of offshore medical care. The focus is on the four central service areas: Offshore Air Rescue, Offshore Paramedics, Telemedicine and Medical Material Management.

These services were provided by the operating partners Northern Helicopter GmbH and Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. Offshore Rescue, who jointly managed 125 offshore projects in the North Sea and Baltic Sea in 2024.

Among other things, the report documents over 1,300 medical treatments by offshore paramedics, 76 HEMS operations in the North and Baltic Sea, around 78,000 hours of paramedic missions on vessels in the offshore wind farms and also provides meaningful key figures on the use of telemedicine. This provides a fact-based insight into a dynamic year of operations, which also demonstrates the range and relevance of offshore medical care.

Within the WINDEAcare network, WINDEA Offshore GmbH is responsible for product management, maritime consulting and the coordination of sales and marketing. Operational implementation lies entirely with the specialized partner companies.

Next year, the annual report will be published in a revised form under the WINDEA branding.
