Kaskasi offshore wind farm underway - more than 50 percent of foundations successfully installed

Construction work for RWE’s Kaskasi offshore wind farm north of Helgoland progressed rapidly in the spring. Using the Buss Terminal Eemshaven as a base port, more than 50 percent of the foundations have already been successfully installed.

Northern Helicopter GmbH will fly in the Arctic and Antarctic in the future. The shipping company F.Laeisz G.m.b.H., based in Rostock, Germany, has entrusted the Emden offshore aviation company with the operation of helicopters for the research vessel “Polarstern” chartered to the Alfred Wegener Institute, Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research (AWI) from June 2022.
Buss Terminal Eemshaven awarded as Base Harbour for the Wind Project “Hollandse Kust Noord”

Buss Terminal Eemshaven has been awarded with another project contract: Starting in October 2022 Eemshaven is going to serve as base port for pre-assembly and installation of rotor blades, nacelles and towers of the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm.
